The St. Patrick Soup Kitchen was founded by Dick Steineman in July of 1996.  The Soup Kitchen is a ministry of the St. Patrick Church in Troy, Ohio. The kitchen serves over 24,000 meals a year to anyone who is hungry or seeks fellowship.

Eating at the Soup Kitchen is literally like eating at your home.  The kitchen is located in a house next to the St Patrick Church.  Guests enter through the front door and sit at kitchen tables placed in several rooms on the ground floor.

The mission statement for the Soup Kitchen is: In accordance with the gospel message, St. Patricks Soup Kitchen serves all who are hungry. It makes no difference whether seeking food for body, soul or spirit, they will be fed.
